So far the shoot has been perfect, gnar weather and perfect snow. My camera has been taking a beating but it’s held up thus far, but now it’s, ummm, FOGGED. Sh*t.

Eli is now much higher up and headed down. I do my best to get the condensation to go away but it’s now at the point of no return. I had been skinning in and up with my camera around my neck but at the top of the boot pack I put it away as it was becoming a giant digital snowball. This was my fatal error…

Thankfully the photo brief was heavily weighted in the “ski’s on the packs” type shots so we already had the shoot in the bag more or less. We do a few different rounds of ski shots and then I fall gracefully down the rest of the couloir and then glide across Emerald Lake. I still can’t really tell where the ground is.
